Tyler Stilley

1990-2022

Tyler Stilley, loving son, brother, and grandson, passed away unexpectedly on September 8 th , 2022. Tyler was born in Denver, CO on January 24, 1990 to Mark Stilley and Cheryl (Dussart) Stilley, and shortly thereafter, the family moved to Ft. Collins, CO. In 1996, the family moved to Durango, CO where Tyler attended school and flourished while skiing, playing soccer and golf and enjoying anything that had to do with the outdoors. He also played basketball, baseball, was in school plays and was always a hit at the family talent shows. He had little competition as the rest of the family has no talent. In 2006, the family relocated to Indian Hills, CO. Tyler graduated from Evergreen High School; the ceremony was held at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. He was exceptionally intelligent and thrived in the classroom and independent studies of the world around him, especially psychology, religions, and the cosmos. He completed coursework at University of Colorado-Boulder, Community College of Denver, and Red Rocks Community College, earning acceptance into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Tyler was known for his kind heart and compassion. The words that he would put in birthday cards, Mother’s Day cards, Father’s day cards and Christmas cards were from a source of deep love and eloquence. They always made us melt. He put other’s concerns and well-being above his own. We will miss him dearly.

Tyler is survived by his mother (Cheryl), father (Mark), sister (Kira Stilley), stepmother (Myrna Stilley), grandmothers (Charlene Dussart and Virginia Stilley) and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers (Charlie Dussart and Lee Stilley), and uncle (Randy Dussart).

His studies on Earth completed, he now joins his loved ones in Heaven and waits on the rest of us.
