Robert was born on August 3 rd 1992 in Boulder, Colorado to Mike and Karen McCrudden and grew up in Louisville, Colorado. Robert graduated from Monarch High School in 2011 and continued his education at Metro State University in Denver. Coaching basketball was his true passion, but Robert also worked as a Real Estate agent, and was committed to finding and providing housing opportunities for various friends, family members and new acquaintances that reached out to him for housing needs.

Robert had a love for basketball and people like no other and was a dedicated friend and mentor to many. He was the starting guard for Monarch High School and began coaching basketball immediately following his high school graduation. He has touched and enhanced the lives of many young athletes that he had the opportunity to coach over the past eleven years. An avid player and competitor himself, he spent many years at the Louisville recreation center draining 3 pointers and breaking ankles. His incredible talent for building relationships, coaching youth basketball and playing basketball will be remembered for many years to come.

Robert was competitive in all aspects of his life, a kind and loyal son, brother, and friend, and loved his family above all else. We know he is looking down on all the lives that he has touched and wishing they will become the best at what inspires each and everyone of them.

There will be a celebration of Robert’s life on Tuesday, January 3 rd , 2023 at Ascent Church at 1:00pm:
