Natalie Ventimiglia

November 19, 1972 – June 9, 2025

Natalie Ventimiglia was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 19, 1972. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Michigan State University before moving to San Francisco, where she lived for ten years. During her time there, she met her husband, Philip Martin (divorced in 2018), and welcomed her first son, Oliver. In 2007, Natalie relocated to Denver, Colorado, where she had her second son, Clive, and began to focus fully on her work as a glass artist. She was deeply passionate about her art, her family, her Sicilian heritage, and the many close friendships she maintained throughout her life—including enduring connections with friends from high school.

Natalie was adventurous, open-hearted, and unafraid to take risks. She embraced the unconventional, nurtured a deep spiritual life, and continually sought meaningful connections and personal growth. In recent years, she faced the challenges of mental illness. She is now at peace.

Natalie is survived by her beloved sons, Oliver James Martin and Clive Wynn Martin; her father, James Rummler, and stepmother, Kim Rummler; her mother, Amelia Reer, and stepfather, Chris Reer; her brother, Marc Rummler, and sister in law Jill Rummler; her stepsister, Taylor Graf; her nieces Ava Rummler and Amelia Rummler; her ex-husband, Philip Martin; and a large extended family who loved her deeply.

A celebration of Natalie’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Althea Center in Denver, Colorado. All are welcome to attend. We encourage you to wear colors that celebrate Natalie’s life – any color that makes you feel connected to Natalie’s memory are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Natalie’s memory to the Mustard Seed Women’s Shelter in Saginaw, Michigan: https://themustardseedshelter.org/ .
