In Loving Memory

James Fuller

August 3, 1955 – December 10, 2022

James (Jim) Charles Fuller, 67, passed away on December 10, 2022 due to complications from his long battle with cancer. Jim was born to Mildred and Earl Fuller in Grand Junction, CO on August 3, 1955. He retired from City Market in 2014 and had spent the majority of those good years at store #9 at 1st Street and Orchard Ave. Jim joyfully gave his time in retirement to the Saint Mary’s Senior Companion Program where he provided time, assistance, and support to four individuals who also became close friends.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time on the Grand Mesa, the Monument, and wherever he could escape into God’s country with his close friends and his amazing dog, Jeno. You would find him mountain and road biking, cross-country skiing, kayaking, and practicing yoga whenever he got the chance.

He also loved collecting a variety of knives and guns and going out to the shooting range.

Jim deeply valued his relationships with his family, friends, and pets. He was called “Patchi” by his grandchildren and he always made the time to put them and his daughters first.

He is survived by his daughters Kimberly Fuller and Jamie Culpepper; his grandchildren Sophie and Eli Culpepper. Jim’s celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2023, date TBD.
