Elisyo Loya

Elisyo Omar Loya passed away on October 29, 2024. He was 24 years old. Born on August 15, 2000, Elisyo began stealing the hearts of everyone that met him. Whether he was picking up a sport, playing a new video game, or taking up the guitar for the first time, he excelled at everything he tried.

Graduating from Roosevelt High School in 2019, he spent all four years playing guitar in the jazz band. He proudly spent the last five years working for Vestas, a wind turbine manufacturer in Windsor. He worked incredibly hard to become financially independent, and at 20 years old he purchased a house in Milliken. He described himself as an investor, crypto enthusiast, musician, and thinker, out to achieve greatness.

Always a nonconforming dreamer with a desire to give back, Elisyo did not want to be interred or cremated in any traditional sense. He wanted to be a tree. The family is steadfast in fulfilling that wish through an environmentally conscious process of returning the body to soil. A loving brother, son, and friend, Elisyo is survived by an incredibly vast network of family and friends.

We will hold a viewing for Elisyo on Friday, November 8th from 2pm to 4pm at The Natural Funeral, 1440 N Boise Ave, Loveland CO 80538, and a celebration of life for him on November 30th beginning at 2pm at the Forge Event Center located next to Grimm Brothers Brew House. There will be a reception to follow, we’ll have food and fellowship to share. Please join us in celebrating Elisyo.
