Alan Janss

On the morning of May 22, 2023, Alan passed away peacefully at home. He was 63. Alan was born in Boulder, Colorado. He also resided in Denver before moving to Longmont, Colorado. Alan is preceded in death by his father, James, and recently his brother Steve and his mother Marian whom he shared the same birthday. He is survived by his dear friends and family.

Alan found interest in ancient Egyptian iconography and anything related to cats/kittens. He enjoyed occasional visits to Longmont’s Pumphouse where he would enjoy a Jack Daniels on the rocks in his healthier days. He enjoyed playing Rumey with his friend Ed and usually won. Alan endured pain and suffering in his later years but always kept his amazing sense of humor. Alan cherished his close friends, especially Ally. Alan made this a better world through his generosity and humorous wit. He will be missed.
